" DeWalt 240v Multi-Functional Tool C/w 2 Extra blades worth over £50 This limited edition multi-functional tool from DeWalt has been developed with a number of features and benefits to appeal to the trade and professional user. The body is extremely slim, allowing more user-control and access into difficult to reach areas which is where these tools are usually used. The back of the body narrows again allowing you extra reach if required. The rubber overmould provides a secure grip for extra control and there is a long, rocker action variable speed trigger which allows you to use the machine comfortably, regardless of your hand position on the body. This multi-tool is powered by a 250 watt motor and has an LED job light at the front of the head which automatically comes on when the trigger is depressed. There is a tool-free quick change mechanism lever which enables you to swap blades easily without the use of any tools. This machine takes the new style multi-tool blades which have a ‘U’ shaped fitting. You can also use many of the traditional, standard type blades (not with the quick change facility) that have an enclosed back as there is an adaptor in the set. This machine cuts, scrapes and sands and also comes with a selection of accessories to perform those tasks, including a sander head and abrasive sheets. Also included is the popular segment blade which is favoured by floor layers, carpenters and plumbers for neatly cutting the bottom of architraves, skirting boards and floor boards, along with a bi-metal plunge saw blade which is one of the most commonly used blades by tradesmen. The kit is supplied in a DeWalt ‘T Stak’ case which has robust metal front catches and a clear plastic lid.
